Grain Spawn
Ingredients per jar:
- 100g whole rye grains
- 87 mL tap water
- 1g gypsum
Equipment:
- tinfoil
- autoclave tape
- 380-500g jar with lid (Glass jar with metal lid)
Method:
Add all ingredients to 500mL jar, stir briefly.
Cover loosely with lid. Cover lid with tinfoil, mark with autoclave tape.
Load into pressure cooker with at least 2L tap water.
Sterilise using the pressure cooker method.
Pressure cook for one hour, then cool.
